Applying to graduate school is difficult. We offer mentorship services to pair you with mentors that have recently been through the process in your specific field of study. As much of the information in this guide is general to a broad range of fields, your mentor can offer you personalized and field-specific advice and feedback to help set you up for success!
One of the key skills you learn in graduate school is how to write in a highly structured, methodical, and logical way. This is something admissions committees look for in your application. Your mentor will provide a set of expert eyes and personalized edits and feedback on your application content, organization, and strategy.

Why is this a paid service?
This is a paid service because we believe in paying grad students for the work they do. Trust us, you’ll appreciate this when you get to grad school! Grad students are constantly asked to donate their time, and we believe in paying them for it whenever possible. Most of the proceeds go directly to your mentors to compensate them for their time and expertise. Hosting this site is not free, and a small portion of proceeds go towards helping keep this site as a freely available resource. Additional proceeds allow us to offer DEI scholarships for our mentoring services to underrepresented and underprivileged students, while still paying grad students for the work they do!
Basic Mentoring - $99
For applicants who need some early-on help planning, strategizing, and organizing their graduate school application. Our basic mentoring package includes a 1-on-1 meeting with an expert mentor in your future field of study. Your mentor can help you figure out the best way to sell your past experience to make your application stand out. Our online materials are designed to be broadly applicable to many fields, so bring questions to ask and be sure to discuss the specifics of applying to graduate school in your field.
Basic Editing - $149
For applicants who want their graduate school applications to sound as professional and specialized as possible. Our basic editing package will pair you with a mentor in your field of study who will spend a significant amount of time editing and providing feedback on your entire application package, including your statement of purpose, CV, research statement, and short-answer responses. You will then meet with your mentor after they edit your materials to get personalized feedback and discuss strategy.
Mentorship Package - $449
For applicants who want help throughout their journey to graduate school. Our mentorship package will pair you with a mentor in your field of study who will meet with you, get to know you, and help you all along the way. They’ll be available for multiple meetings and iterations of edits to provide you with personalized feedback and support. This package also provides edits on your final application materials from a second mentor, who will give you a fresh set of eyes and perspective! You’ll have the opportunity to have a brief consult with your mentor to ensure it’s a good fit before proceeding.

DEI Mentorship Scholarship
We believe academia and scholarship should be an inclusive opportunity, but we have a long way to go before we get there. We offer mentorship services to applicants from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds to aid in this effort. This scholarship pairs you with a mentor in your field of study who will help you throughout your graduate school application journey. Your mentor will be available for meetings to provide personalized advice, support, and edits on your application materials.
